The excitement of Christmas starts with adverts and shops marketing their products and each year this seems to start earlier and earlier. Unfortunately, for many families, Christmas can be a time of dread and worry. With presents and food to buy, and guests to entertain, lots of families can really feel the financial pinch at this time of year. Knowing how to plan a Christmas on a budget may help ease some of the concerns you have.
We’ve partnered with Money Matters Money Advice Centre, who will host a dedicated workshop on how to best prepare and manage your money during this most expensive time of year.
Preparing for Christmas on a Budget
When: Wednesday 30th November, 10.30am to 12pm
Where: Ladywell Business Centre, 94 Duke Street, Glasgow (short walk from High Street).
It should be acknowledged that this year has created financial difficulties for many. There’s no need to overspend and stretch yourself.
In this workshop we will look at ways to budget for Christmas with the money you have available, how to shop for the best deals, and what to do if you spend more than you can afford.
